Anthony Chung

Senior Quantitative Analyst
Anthony Chung joined AllianceBernstein in 2006 as a quantitative analyst in the Currency Strategies Group. Prior to joining the firm, he was a portfolio analyst at Integrated Finance Limited, a company founded by Nobel laureate Robert Merton and others. Previously, Chung worked for Goldman Sachs (Asia) as an associate economist, where he followed macroeconomic conditions in Asian emerging markets, and developed a model of international trade-flow dynamics based on global economic conditions and real exchange rates. Prior to pursuing his PhD, he spent two years at Wasserstein Perella & Co. as an M&A analyst and was an intern with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Chung has served as a referee for several academic journals, such as the American Economic Review and the Journal of Economic Theory and has presented academic research at several top-tier universities and international economic meetings. He holds a BA from the University of Chicago and a PhD in economics from Stanford University. Location: New York
