Brian D. Wodar

Brian D. Wodar is a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor with Bernstein Private Wealth Management in West Palm Beach. He provides customized advice to individuals, families, trusts and not-for-profit organizations. His areas of expertise include investment strategy, retirement planning, wealth transfer, concentrated stock and option exposure, sales of privately held businesses and philanthropic giving. Previously, Brian was Bernstein’s national director of Philanthropy and director of the Wealth Strategies Group. Brian has been published extensively in industry publications, he’s been a featured speaker at industry events and has been quoted frequently in the national media. He led Bernstein’s largest private-client research effort to date—the creation of the Wealth Forecasting System. Prior to joining Bernstein in 1997, Brian taught writing, literature and mathematics at NYU and other New York colleges and universities. Brian earned a BA in English from SUNY Albany, an MA in literature from NYU and an MBA in finance from NYU. He is a member of the board of directors at the West Palm Beach Public Library Foundation, a member of the board of directors at the Palm Beach County Planned Giving Council, a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee for Jupiter Medical Center, a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Committee for the United Way of Palm Beach County, and an active participant in the American Cancer Society’s Real Men Wear Pink campaign. Brian, his wife and two daughters are active in tennis and equestrian sports, raising their dogs, cats and birds, and fostering puppies and kittens.
